There is plenty of commercial tourism outside of the canyon. Keep it special and protected as it is.

I have visited and climbed at Red Rock many times. Having any more visible development would ruin the experience, so if this happens, I will go elswwhere.

Noise, lights,cars,foot traffic......all these and more are very harmful to the wonderful wild habitat that we have preserved as Red Rock Canyon. We charge admision in order to limit impact. For all the same reasons, we must avoid perimeter impact.

Red Rocks is a WORLD CLASS scenic and recreation area. It should be a World Heritage Site. There should be no more development in the area--period.

The County Commissioners must stop allowing for development of the Red Rock area! It's the only untouched area near our national park! Please STOP!

Red Rock National Park should be preserved, and keep IRRESPONSIBLE builders from ruining the areas around the park as well. We all know it will spill into the park area. There is plenty of land elsewhere to develop.

The beauty of Red Rock National Park is not only in the rocks but in the serenity of the park.
On a recent visit to the park in October, I noticed an increase in discarded trash along the trails closest to the road. Yes, these are the most frequently traveled, but it seemed associated with those who simply drive through the park to take a selfie 50 feet from the road.
The beauty of Red Rock NP must be preserved. There is a hell of a lot of room out there, and it doesn't need to crowd out the NP!

As development reaches further and further into our deserts, this is one of the only places left to take ourselves and our children to enjoy the beautiful natural landscape and cultivate a love and appreciate of the outdoors. Development in RRC cannot be allowed to happen!

Save Red Rock. Development should go any further than it already has. Parts of Summerlin have already gone further than it should. Las Vegas needs some open spaces for a natural environment to enjoy for recreation.
