I grew up about 10 miles from Red Rock canyon, and it should be kept rural so kids have a place to get close to nature. And a place to go hiking and rock climbing.

The mines up there went underground, how can set safely on the hillside?

This is our heritage and should be protected from residences and commercial uses. There has already been too much encroachment in this area. The environment in and around Red Rock is pristine and we should ALL be able to enjoy the beautiful landscape while preserving the habitat there.

Do no allow greed and urban sprawl to override the public good and the health and beauty of one of our closest accessible nature preserves. Locals love Red Rock! Keep it wild.

Allowing development on this scale on or near the Red Rock Nature Conservancy would be an irremedial mistake. Let's decrease the open real estate inventory before even thinking about adding 5K more units ANYWHERE in the Valley.

I lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years and I would hate to see this beautiful area turned into yet another housing development for rich people and making the developer even richer.

Red Rock is a jewel that should remain forever wild. It does not need 5000 homes in front of it.

You can't even get back land once you've desecrated it with human development. Keep wild lands wild.
