I have been visiting the conservation area for years now. As an out of state tourist who travels to Nevada frequently to visit this amazing place, I hope the commissioners understand what a desirable tourist destination Red Rocks is. This could be the first step towards the loss of a very important economic attraction for the state of Nevada...

You can't bring that many people in because of the animals. Also, environmentally it would change for the worse. The city of Blue Diamond is a historical place and it will take away from the beauty of that.

Have friends who just went climbing out there earlier this month. The pictures they took were beautiful. This would only destroy the environment.

The proposed urban development near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a grand example of encroachments all over the nation upon our most prized and treasured natural areas. Conservation MUST be fought for again and again, or we will certainly lose the wild feel of these great and beautiful places that God has carved out in our nation.

There are enough vacant homes to house every single homeless person... not enough houses is not the problem. We need more rock climbiners, hikers, people that learn to appreciate the natural environment and do not want to destroy it and pollute it. The best way to destroy something is to put a 'high desity' of anything around it and create an imbalance... Humans especially, have a potent effect.

Red Rock is a place of peace and awe inspiring beauty, not a piece of real estate to be fleeced and flipped for profit.
