Keep red rock wild. This is no place for a housing development, it is a national recreation area. Already too much traffic on a scenic byway. This is an insult to nature and all who enjoy red rock. This is no place for a development shame on you county commissioners who voted for this . This will destroy the peacefulness nature and beauty of a national recreation area.

If you need new houses just pick somewhere else to build!! It’s not like Vegas hasn’t been expanding for the last 30 years I’m sure you can find somewhere that’s not a national park.

Red rock is a place for locals to retreat for an escape from the hustle and bussle of the tourist filled city. We deal with the city and it’s demands 24 -7 and making red rock residential takes away from peacefulness and magic that is red rock hiking and nature enjoyment. This is one of the only local spots close enough to enjoy on the weekend and making it into any ther residential community entails denying locals a sanctuary away from most tourists let go retreat.

Lake Mead is running dry and you ask residents to conserve water. Your response is - yea let's build 400 new homes and use even more water! Please do not build in Red Rock. Save something for future generations!
