Keep Red Rock Rural

Red Rock is special because there **aren't** houses there

Hello Commissioners, I was specifically told by the head of the planning committee for Summerlin in June of 2021 when they were making improvements to the arroyo behind Scots Pine the history of the land. He stated that in exchange for return of 500+ acres on from the Red Red area canyon builders could plan their builds further north but legally we’re not allow to touch the exact area Gypsum is proposing. Why are you even listening to their proposal? There is a legally binding agreement. Tax payers have been paying the city and part of which it to keep Red Rock and the land around it preserved. Don’t allow Gypsum to destroy Red Rock. There are ample pieces of land to build their project out that isn’t protected by law. Furthermore, the wildlife is continually being threatened by builders like Gypsum. Protect them as well. They deserve to stay in their environment and not have to uproot. Keep Red Rock free from developers.

Please do not succumb to Rhodes' craven private interests over those of the vast population that oppose Red Rock's development

Stop the greed, protect our land!

There is plenty of land to develop in Las Vegas; infringing on Red Rock and destroying this beautiful conservation area is not only a tragic loss for the local environment, but completely unnecessary.

As an avid mountain biker, road cyclist and hiker I love that this area so close to Las Vegas is rural and accessible for me to enjoy the outdoors peacefully. How will that be possible if housing projects are put in place in this area let alone the impact to the local geology. Please keep it that way so that future generations can enjoy the same beauty and serenity I’ve enjoyed in my 25+ yrs in Las Vegas.

There's absolutely no reason this conservation area should be destroyed. Plenty of other places to build! Please, preserve nature and don't build in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area!

We don't want, nor need such a development near our precious Red Rock area. We don't need the increase in traffic either. This is delicate area.

Those lands are sacred. Please do not develop more on the dwindling natural landscapes.

Leave this beautiful area untouched. Some areas need to be left alone and this is one of them. STOP THIS.

Please reconsider, and keep our precious National Park of Red Rock rural by; • Blue Diamond Hill is to keep ALL the rules and laws of the Red Rock Overlay. • To create access to the property to be ONLY from the east, as promised by Jim Rhodes himself, and NOT utilizing highway 159. • Blue Diamond Hill students to be zoned away from the Blue Diamond Village's elementary school - which is not big enough for more than 60 student, and we want to keep it that way. • I'm supporting ALL our village residents, who are presenting today on 10.04.2022 at 1 PM. •I visit Europe a lot, and if it was not for people protecting their villages, natural and national parks, and historical homes, cathedrals, castles, and churches, there would be no reason to visit Europe. •***The Red Rock Canyon National Park is a HUGE touristic site - we know, because we deal with the thousands of extra cars that go there every month. If we allow developers to do as they will, and turn it into part of the city, our visitors will have no reason for wanting to visit it anymore, and that would cost our state money!!!*** Thank you!
