I travel to Vegas several times a year specifically to visit Red Rocks. If the view from the park is that of hoses and stripmalls whats the point of a state park? I'll be going somewhere else.

I generally visit Las Vegas annually (or at least every other year) for vacation. I enjoy the casinos, gambling, shopping, etc. but also my time in a rural Red Rock. Not sure I would come at all as often if Red Rock is developed. It would certainly be a huge detractor for me and my cohort b/c we all appreciate the relative quiet and natural beauty.

While I no longer live in Vegas, I grew up there and my parents and many friends still live there. I know they love Red Rock the way it is, and so do so many people who visit Vegas for things other than gambling.

It is important to keep our Red Rock area pristine and natural as possible. Many tourists coming to visit our City love that they are out of the housing developments and casinos immediately when they reach our beautiful, pristine Red Rocks!
