I hiked red rock all the time while living in Las Vegas. Please don't develop on this land! It's special to so many locals!! There are plenty of other areas to place a development on!! Keep this place free for people to enjoy!

No amount of $$$$ is worth the price of the destruction of this state and the community treasure that Red Rock is known for--peace and tranquility. We have had enough "building" in precious areas. We need to leave Red Rock, and many of our states treasured hiking and outdoor activity areas alone! We need as much natural beauty around us and places to walk and meditate from all the hustle and bustle of our "entertainment city." Red Rock is one a few places left where we feel like it's a get-away, when it’s really in our back yard. Leave Red Rock alone!

Red Rock is a literal gem of Las Vegas. Further development would only ruin the park for current and future generations. There's plenty of space in south Vegas to build more homes - leave Red Rock be!

Don't do it! Red Rock is amazing and should be kept rural and wild.

Please keep Red Rocks rural. Do not develop this area. The climbers and other human powered recreationalists who value Red Rocks as wilderness need you to step up. People should respect this area or it will not be preserved for future generations. I love climbing at Red Rocks but if it gets developed the experience will be ruined.

This would be a travesty. Given the amount of empty houses and vacant land throughout the valley, why would anyone allow Las Vegas' most beautiful natural resource be turned into a bunch of tract homes?

I beg you to protect a national treasure by preserving and protecting Red Rock. NO development there. Money is not worth the destruction of this treasure. It needs to be preserved for all people, not just rich people.

We do not need more homes. We need to leave Red Rock canyon alone.
