Parks are such a necessity for people to reconnect with nature, their friends and families and enjoy outdoor activities. Red Rocks is a destination area for so many outdoor enthusiasts. Developing this land would be a supreme loss to the local community, travelers and for generations to come. This year in my travels to Red Rocks I have met people from other countries who, again, flew to this area for its renowned beauty and outdoor opportunities. Keep Red Rocks Rural.

I have been coming to Red Rocks for years and deeply enjoy its rural beauty and nature. I find it extremely sad a development on this natural wonder is even being contemplated. Please don't ruin this one of a kind, beautiful place. Las Vegas is nearby and therefore the canyon is already assessable for those who want to enjoy the canyon. Please keep the city in Las Vegas and keep this natural wonder natural.

Keep Red Rock NCA rural and undeveloped. Please do not allow Rhodes or anyone else to build houses anywhere in the NCA.

As a 50 year resident of Las Vegas ( I remember red rock when it was a dirt road all the way around. I was in the first graduating class at Rancho high school in 1957. I cannot comprehend allowing this kind of development anywhere near the red rock area! Please reject this request and those that will follow in the same area.

Red Rock is one of my favorite spots to hike and climb any time I come to Vegas! I would hate to see development encroach on this special place, especially when there is so much land to develop north of town.

Red Rock is a beautiful place where my family and I very much enjoy spending time. Developing the land surrounding it would be devastating to the NV landscape, a complete eye sore and would disrespect the land. Please tell the developers NO.

With all the graffiti and vandalizing going on at local parks within city limits why draw a bigger crowd to a place that is serene and respected by the people who visit and jeopardize the integrity of this National historic park?

I have visited Red Rock Canyon for over 20 years to go climbing and hiking. I regularly visit and have started taking my 6 year old son hiking in the area. I hope that it will always be available as wilderness area for him in the future.
