We've got enough stucco eyesores in the Valley. How about we redevelop some of the areas in town that have been neglected and leave Red Rock alone.

This is absolutley crazy! All this undeveloped land and Gypsum decides Red Rock is the place! Wth? Oh and please do not say it is because of the views and sceanary. If you go and start a developement of 5000+ houses I am quite sure the nature in the area will not like it and the housing itself will incorporate the craziness of every day hustle and bustle. People go there to get away from the city! To enjoy the quiet and calm! To enjoy mother nature at its best! They would be crazy to let Gypsum ruin such a stunning site. Smdh!

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is probably the most scenic area Vegas has to offer tourists that aren't interested in gambling or nightlife. To sacrifice nature's beauty to development would be an irreversible travesty. With so much undeveloped land in pockets throughout the valley, there is simply no reason the development needs to creep westward, and swallow some of the most breathtaking vistas our city has to offer. Oppose this development. Keep Red Rock rural.

This is a bottom line issue for me when it comes to voting. I cannot support a candidate who would allow this. They've already allowed builders to destroy the area around Black Mountain...we cannot let them destroy Red Rock. This would only be the beginning!

I've spent many hours enjoying the peace and beauty of this place, despite living on the east coast.
Every time I visit, I am disgusted by the sprawl of ever more homes. Please stop this from happening, it's an affront to natural beauty everywhere.

Red Rock is one of the most beautiful places in the Southwest and deserves to stay that way!! Don't take away natural beauty to replace it with homes that will most likely be vacant in 10 years anyways!!
