I have visited and plan to again visit Red Rock Canyon for Rock Climbing and other outdoor recreation. I find it to be one of the most accessible, yet beautiful, raw, natural areas in the lower 48. Please do not alter this amazing, alien landscape with a suburban development that will destroy the peace and solitude that draws me here. My out-of-state tourism dollars might well end up elsewhere if, for example, I could not lay in the BLM campsite in peace and utter darkness. Keep this place wild.

Yes, Northern Nevadans love Red Rock too! My Wife and I come to S. NV for the wilderness. Our son works for GBI in S. NV because of the wonders you have there. We love Red Rock!

Further encroachment into Red Rock is completely unacceptable! This is Vegas' beautiful backyard, not some playground for greedy developers!

Whenever someone is visiting from out of state I always direct them to red rock to enjoy nature away from the strip. That sense of being away from the city will be tainted if there are houses that can be seen from the lookouts around the loop

It would be a travesty to destroy the natural beauty and deny visitors the unencumbered experience of Red Rocks. As a climber and a frequent visitor of the area, I can't imagine the blight of suburbia in this area.
