I'm not from Nevada but spend at least a week in Red Rock every year. I wish nothing more than to see this place kept wild and free from further development.

Please consider the negative impact of building in the Red Rock Canyon area that is a national treasure not only for so many locals, but for global tourists who come to experience the grandeur of this great park. Most importantly, please consider the wildlife it will displace and the environment that will be destroyed should this land be developed. Lets put more of our efforts into rebuilding downtown communities and centralizing efforts for gentrification in areas around Las Vegas which need redevelopment. Thank you for your consideration.

I have come to visit Red Rock park numerous times, and appreciate the natural beauty that the peaks provide. It would be a shame to have it encroached with housing.
