Save Reach2 Admin Staff

This decision demonstrates a lack of values based leadership which should be fundamental in those who educate our children.

Their role is imperative for the smooth running of the school

I personally think it's awful behaviour by Reach2 specially in this times we need them and our children need it because because that become a safety issue considering they are the main point of contact for 100s of parents

I’m deeply saddened, concerned and frankly appalled by the proposed plans to cut both finance, office and administrative roles across Reach schools. Our school office team are the backbone to our school. Without them, as a teaching staff, we simply cannot function. Reducing the teams to one or two Individuals does not seem plausible.

This is a fantastic team

Not a good move at all. Teachers (who are already pushed to the limits) will end up having to pick up the slack and the children will be affected. This is a step in the direction of falling standards in Reach schools, they should really reconsider.

Please keep all office staff in all Reach2 schools as they are. They are doing a great job and very much needed for the schools to function properly. Think of looking for some income rather than savings. Consider letting out school premises for weekend activities i.e. Saturday schools, or corporate conferences during half terms and summer holidays.

Running a decent school is more than just the quality of the teaching staff - it’s a team effort that needs to be well resourced and supported with an experienced administration team

A pay cut to Head and higher paid staff is a better option to keep the necessary functionality of the school rather than cutting lower paid staff that do essential day to day management.

admin staff do more than just admin they build relationships with parents children etc , some going above and beyond to offer help and support when needed , this well be a great loss with a huge negative impact , more put on teachers / TAs

As an ex-teacher and former teacher-trainer and senior lecturer for BEd and BA / BSc students,, I deplore this retrograde measure. My granddaughter is a pupil at a Reach2 school so I know how wonderfully the team adds to the work of the brilliant teaching staff. My granddaughter absolutely loves going to school and her confidence, positivity and kindness have been both valued and encouraged to flourish there. In an increasingly unkind world our children and grandchildren need this beautifully supportive gateway to their community and their future.

Getting rid of admin staff will only push more admin work onto the teachers, who already have a huge workload, and take their attention away from their core work - teaching our children.

This is a remarkable situation, and very disappointing in that I thought Reach2 was different and much better than this. I have had two children go through Robert Fitzroy Academy and I have seen how busy and wonderful the team is behind the scenes (and on the busy front line that is the school office). I have seen no slack in the operation and I wonder what will become of the school without a full team enabling it to function.

As a parent and a member of staff I know how hard the office team work, how much they do that cannot be pushed onto teachers and ta's who are already overstretched. They are the backbone to our school community and we cannot be without them. So sad that this is being done, in what already is an incredibly challenging time in the cost of living crisis too. Our children will sadly be the ones that miss out. All parents should have been consulted and given the opportunity to comment

Review your decision! They are great staff and the school needs them.
