Please don’t allow this facility in our neighborhood. It would be better suited for the Mt Moriah area where many car lots already exist. There are vacant buildings that would be well suited for Budget.

For those who weren't able to join the "neighborhood meeting" hosted by Cindy Reaves and Budget, the plan is to market their services to customers outside of our zip codes, although they won't say to whom. So if you want increased traffic, people who might not ordinarily know our neighborhood exists coming through to rent cars and box trucks (or not) and an eyesore more suited to an industrial park, then go ahead and ignore this petition.

We want the city to protect our neighborhood and the tax base that a successful, stable middle class neighborhood in Memphis provides. We like living in the city for its convienence and diversity, and do not want to see our investment in our homes and community depreciate. Be smart Memphis.

Let's preserve this neighborhood as a neighborhood. I appreciate car and truck rental places, but they do not fit in a community that is lovely but teetering.

There is no need for a car rental place inYSC. We used the former Budget place on Poplar and it was awful to do business with. We will not use them again.

Please help us save the family neighborhood atmosphere of our area. When businesses like this encroach upon our neighborhoods, it erodes everything around it. Memohis has seen this time and time again. What is most important? Our residents, our city, or the profits of a few...which, by the way, will detract from the profits of the existing business establishments.

We have to stop letting owners of commercial real estate (who do not live in the area) solicit changes for $$ reasons only that will negatively impact the neighborhoods nearby.
