This is not Lamar Avenue, nor is it a truck route. It is a residential area. Keep you commercial truck rental out of our neighborhood!

No to commercial business of any kind like a car & truck rental. Will help destroy neighborhood and hurt residential home values. Balmoral neighborhood is one of the last best values in housing in Memphis

I have lived in this neighborhood 58 years. We have remained stable, and this new encroachment will certainly change this.

I have lived in Balmoral for 25 years and we do not need this type of business in our residential area.

I don’t believe a car truck rental lot would be good for or compatible with this neighborhood.

Rental Car facilities do not belong in a residential neighborhood. They should be located near airports, hotels, large office parks, etc.

LEAVE RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS TO RESIDENTS NOT TRUCK PARKING LOTS

The Budget business with its storage of large trucks is not one that should be placed in an area flanked by nice neighorhoods. Additionally, there are two very popular restaurants in Yorkshire Shopping Center. Budget's vehicles would take away from customers' parking, hurting the existing businesses already located in the shopping center. Please do not allow Budget to move into Yorkshire Shopping Center!

There are plenty of other vacant and more attractive options - ones already zoned appropriately - for this business in our city. Zoning is set with long-term purpose in mind. The proposal, if allowed, would be short sighted and naïve.

This is the worst idea. The best location for this type of business is in an area near other businesses whose patronage would need the services offered by this - vehicle rental - business, such as: Hotels, Airports, Convention Centers, etc.

Balmoral neighborhood fully supports getting new dollars on the city’s tax roll in order that we all thrive and receive effective services. However, It is short-sighted and irresponsible to allow short gains and economic politics to diminish the foundation of this neighborhood. We have all seen the results of what happens when city leadership and council members allows this to happen. I am against the proposed minimization of this large property that practically sits in the doorway of many residents. We are willing to brainstorm better uses and we want to believe hat the city cares enough to listen and collaborate with us.
