While I am uncertain of the effect of the sale on current recreation use, as well as what portions of the trail will be affected, I consider any threat to the trail network a grave mistake. Open space available to the public is crucial for the health of communities, and few places in northern San Diego possess and rival the scenic quality of the Santa Margarita River. - Scott Turner Co-author, 5th Edition, Afoot and Afield in San Diego County

This is one of the few trails in SoCal with water crossings and ease of access for trailers and parking. Please keep this open for the horse society.

There are so few horsey areas left in North San Diego County. Please don't take away what little we have left.

More spaces should be made and kept available as open space for trail use and for wild life. Thank you.

This trail is one of the greatest things about our little village. We used to walk our three dogs along the trail and splash around with them in the creek. We were so looking forward to family day trips with our little girl, who was just born in September, right after the trail was closed. This is our favorite activity in town, and it would be heartbreaking to never be able to share it with our growing family. PLEASE, please, please keep it open!

The Santa Margarita River Valley trails should be kept open for public access to nature and the recreational opportunities that have been a tradition in the Fallbrook and De Luz area for many decades.

Save what little wilderness we have to explore around here! Let our kids have somewhere they can trek and hike!

I have been riding and hiking these trails since the 1980's. It would be a shame to loose them, people need a place to stay connected to nature and wildlife. It needs to be preserved for that purpose. We also need to stop those that come and destroy it by leaving trash and having fires.

I take my daughter down there all the time. We love the diversity of plants and animals. Not to mention the various geologic features. I see it as a great resource for teaching my daughter about nature. It would be a shame to loose access.

A beautiful place to explore the nature, there are so few parks around and would be sad to lose this one.
