The reason I am signing is because my dad and I hike on these trails all the time, and we both agree that these beautiful trails should be open to the public, and for everyone to enjoy.

I can tell by reading other signors comments this is a beautiful region....that I hope to someday be able to ride through. California is part of the great West , which was settled by many folks that were carried here by horses or wagons pulled by horses. Let's not diminish or ruin our opportunity to keep trails like this open for the future generations that want to enjoy a beautiful area like this on horseback or hiking!

These are some of the most beautiful trails in So Cal! Not only do we have a significant equestrian community, more people buy real estate here to enjoy them, as I did! Riders are the best about staying on the trails and enjoying the serenity and the wildlife...always respectful. It would be an absolute travesty to restrict use! Please don't let this happen to our community and beautiful trails!

Fallbrook and the Santa Margarita preserve is the only area in So. California that has all types of terrain. Closing it to horse back riders, walkers, etc. would be a crime. We care for the area, we do not destroy it. It should be made as Eco. preserve for all generations to enjoy. DO not be like the rest of the money hungry Californians and destroy what little we have left. Obviously the people who want to take this away and destroy it are not horse people or people who are interested I preserving nature. They also do not live here. I have worked for developers. they put nothing back nor give anything back. The horse trails they provide are city slicker ideas of horse trails. They have no clue. Developers destroy God's gift of nature. T.L. 'Dakota' Hawley

This is still one of the very few hidden gems in the area that provides a serene place to hike, trail ride, and more. To lose this trail will be devastating for many citizens in north county.

Please keep the trail open for non-motorized use to preserve public access as a result of any future sales.

Please record a legal easement for non-motorized public trail use (including equestrians) prior to any sale of this area. Keeping and maintaining open areas close to nature is important in this age of increased urbanization, congested living areas and diminishing opportunities for those in suburbia and the cities to experience nature.

Please save this trail for equestrians, it is one of the only shaded, water trails that we can ride on hot summer days!

Please do not close this trail and area to the public. It's so important to have open areas like this where people can get back to nature with their families and children can learn to be outdoors and respect and care for the wild areas and the wildlife that lives there. This area is so close with easy access and family friendly. Easily walkable by young and old alike. Gives people positive places to go and explore amd enjoy. Also great for horseback riders and folks with dogs. Please dont take this away from us.

Horses need the trails as much as the humans. Nature has a reason for survival.

All our trails are precious. Not unlike our wild animal friends, we that enjoy them on a regular basis are being pushed out.

We are losing trails in the name of progress. Please stop the madness and keep the trails open for all non motorized use.

We have enjoyed riding through the Santa Margarita trails for many years and feel it would be an incrredible loss to have them closed to all of us, the public. Please, on behalf of hikers, bikers, and especially equestrians, keep these beautiful trails open to us. It is a legacy to pass on to future generations.
