Its sad to think we would ever have to fight to enjoy nature with our horses. I hope and pray that whoever has the final day so will clearly see and feel the impact the wrong decision can have on the lives of the people in this horse community that support our cities and county.

This is a beautiful and historical area. It needs to be kept open for future generations to enjoy.

Save the riding trails!!! Equestrians have always been excellent stewards of the Santa Margarita River trails. We deserve to keep them!

I implore you to assure the availability hiking and horse trails through the SMRV. You should be ashamed of yourselves if you let money win out over the environment and the community members.

Save the SMRV trails... We are running out of recreational areas to ride & enjoy nature. Frankly we are all tired of greedy developers & all their non-stop development of CA which is quickly turning our beautiful state into nothing but a chaotic, congested concrete jungle!!!

This was my first time walking the trails and to have that first experience taken away from future children and adults, dog walkers and horseback riders, nature lovers and trail runners...is disappointing to me. "We the People" are responsible for preserving this trails beauty over the years and in the future, so "We the People" should not be denied access to this river valley.
Walk the many,
Until the next time...

I have ridden these trails over the years and think they are some of the most beautiful property we have for good wholesome hiking and riding. Please protect them.

Great place to take our boy scouts to learn about nature and community service. Earn merit badges. Getting back to nature getting outside.

I am the Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 739 Fallbrook. Our Troop uses these trails as part of our Rank Advancement program and we have 2 Eagle Scout projects in the trail system. It would be a shame if access was lost.
