Hi there,
I am confused as to the introduction of new rules and regulations in regards to Professional Wrestling in the great state of New York. Professional Wrestling is a staple of Americana. The facets which include it's ritual and action make communities come together. It can be a great way of community building as well as reinforcing patriotism.
The rules the NYSAC are attempting to implement will hinder the effectiveness of Professional Wrestling as a performance art, and will render Pro-Wrestling ineffective in community building aspects. Fan participation, including wrestling responding to cheers and jeers is an integral part of the community building design.
By attempting to take these rituals away from the people, you are also endangering many economic opportunities for young people who wish to demonstrate their athletic prowess whilst simultaneously showcase their comedic and acting skill.
Essentially, what the NYSAC is doing should be considered illegal by the federal government. It is anti-patriotic as much as it is economically crippling for those who wish to continue this wonderful tradition of Professional Wrestling.
I am emailing you, in hopes that you really rethink and review your policies on Professional Wrestling moving forward. You're essentially killing people's livelihoods as well as diminishing the strength of the great nation of the United States of America. For this, I cannot stand.
Kyle MacDonald.

Unfortunately many of these rules have come forward because promotions rat on each other to the NYSAC in order to get rivals shut down. Congrats to all those who have sent videos to NYSAC asking "well why were these alllowed to use a table" "they should be fined" over regulation is the result of jealousy and hatred from one company or the next. No one to blame but the haters.

Indy wrestling is a great form of inexpensive entertainment. These companies put on great shows and also do fundraisers for communities. The WWE has gone the way of all other professional sports. They made them unaffordable to the common person. Safety factors I can see addressing but leave the rest alone.

After reading some of the highlights of the new changes, I am disappointed in how the NYSAC is going to hurt the independent scene. While I can understand a need for an ambulance, the other rule changes do not benefit a mall company. I see no problem in a promoted helping another company to put on a show. Instead of outright banning, maybe allowing this as long as the license holder assumes responsibility and has to put their name down as sponsoring the event. The most ridiculous change is the way a heel interacts with the crowd. Verbal interaction is a vital part to the heel's character, especially in establishing it in an area where people do not know them. Prices for WWE have skyrocketed and have made it impossible for most families to attend a show. The independents are all some people have. By enacting these laws, it will take away this option.

Good morning. As someone who is at a wrestling show almost every weekend I am perturbed about some of the upcoming changes to the regulations. I love wrestling. It am afraid certain costs, not renting out licenses, ambulance on site- while effectively shut down several promotions. Also the non heckling of fans will definitely put a damper on the event. Fans want to be involved. I'm just sad at the thought that my passion will have to leave the starts to be quenched.

What they should do is get organized again and have the NWA as pro wrestling's glorified national union rep. If you need something with chapters then why not hit up San Francisco as a number 2 or NXT market for the next big thing? That's where Superstar Graham, Rocky Johnson, Peter Maivia all came from was promotions like Big Time Wrestling. That was even my dad's name was Joe Bigtime and he even looked like Hulk Hogan when he got all fired up.

Kids under 8 should be allowed to attend
