Mr. Bynum has been the best principal that OCE has seen in the last several years. He made OCE feel like a family again. There is no reason to move him. Please listen to the families and teachers.

My niece just started her teaching career at Orange City. She did so because of Mr. Bynum and her wonderful 2nd grade team. Please keep him at OC so she can continue her growth and love for teaching. Don’t let her get discouraged due to the politics of the school board.

I am writing to express my utmost admiration for Mr. Bynum, who serves as an exceptional principal at Orange City Elementary. In light of the challenges our students have faced due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the recent remodeling activities, I firmly believe that removing him from his position would impose unnecessary hardships on our children. As both a devoted parent and a dedicated community leader, I have actively supported Orange City Elementary through financial contributions and volunteering for fundraisers, classroom snack requests, and various other initiatives. Given Mr. Bynum's unwavering commitment to our students and his exceptional support for parents, I find it difficult to fathom the consequences that may arise if he were to be reassigned. The impact on the school would be immense. In the event of such a decision, I would seriously contemplate transferring my children to a different institution and redirecting my support elsewhere. It is crucial to consider how this potential change will affect not only the students and parents but also the future of everyone involved. Our children have already endured significant challenges, and it is imperative that we provide them with stability and continuity in their educational journey. Mr. Bynum's dedication and leadership have been instrumental in ensuring a nurturing environment for learning and growth. I implore you to consider the profound implications that his reassignment would have on our students, parents, and the entire community. Thank you for taking the time to reflect on this matter and its far-reaching consequences. I sincerely hope that you will prioritize the best interests of our children and choose to retain Mr. Bynum as the principal of Orange City Elementary. Our kids have faced enough adversity, and they deserve the continued guidance and support of a remarkable individual like Mr. Bynum. Yours sincerely, Rachel Boltz

I have never seen a better or more involved principal in all my years as a student and now as a parent.

The overall morale of the school is going to decline if Mr. Bynum is transferred. He is a light at OCE and my kids would be devastated if he were to get moved. He truly cares about the kids and parents at his school. Moving him is a disgrace!

I've been a vcs teacher for 17 years and I've known Charlie for a while. We shouldn't uproot people like this unless there is a very good reason.

The best of the best. Would be a horrible decision and best believe would be taken up with school board. He’s a great teacher signed class of 2012
