There are problem of parking and this will reat more problems for the area. We were safe so far and once the flats are ready there will be all sorts of people living in thos flats and could be gang of kids hanging in the area and place will be not safe. What gurentee will council gi e if the problem arise.

Why is everything being smashed to build flats.. Try going outside London to build, I think certain areas are being over populated by flats and no schools, hospitals, doctors being built. Government needs to balance things.

Libraries are needed more than ever now. This library is an important utility for the Preston road area and community.

Preston road library = accessibility for the elderly, disabled , parents with more than one child which avoids grappling on to a bus to get to Kingsbury or Wembley stadium to access the libraries. Convenience for the rest of us who love to use libraries Plus within walking distance = better for health and fewer polluting car journeys. I don't even have to list the massive disadvantages of even more housing in this area. Leave the library alone and reinstate it as a fully working council library!

There are not enough accessible libraries in Brent to cater for the growing population in the borough. Brent council executives need to take a pay cut so that money can be used to resources much needed services in the community instead of raising the council tax for the borough residents.
Many if the council execs and directors don't even live in Brent!

Better way save is to cut pension bonuse
s and freebies for Bre nt Executives and sll high paid personalities over multi years. It is time Brent Council loos within to se

Much loved Library needs renovating, certainly not to be part of a 4 storey block of flats crammed into a small site. Library/community hub works very well as it is.

The replacement public library is even smaller than the exisiting one. there is no disabled toilet serving the library. The ground floor lfat at the rear sould be a multiuse room serving the library, not for residential use. How can the council bend its own planning guidelines to permit this scheme is beyond comprehension.
