Pleases save this school. It is one of the few all girl Catholic schools left. We need a safe haven to prioritize academic and moral instruction for teenagers during those difficult and formative years.

Preston High School is one of the Bronx's long standing monuments. And monuments are not torn down or closed!! The school has a rich alumni tradition which includes such notable personalities as:
*Amanda Farías (2007), member, New York City Council.
*Jennifer Lopez (1987), singer, dancer, and actress.
*Lynda Lopez (1989), WWOR-TV news anchor, journalist, former DJ and VJ, host of the GLOW television show, and younger sister of Jennifer Lopez.
I have seen other Bronx catholic schools close without a fight. The fact that do many are fighting to keep Preston open is a testament of the schools importance to those who attended, those who currently attend and myself who did not attend but recognize the school as an important part of the Bronx.
