Please reconsider this monumental decision.
Preston has been…and continues to be an outstanding school, with so
much to offer its students.
Now more than ever, such a wonderful school is needed to help young women navigate through challenging times.

Preston has always been a beacon of positive influence for young girls in the Bronx. We can’t allow this institution to be sold or worse, torn down. Not only is Preston High School a part of Bronx history that must be preserved, it is also one of the few remaining progressive Catholic schools which teaches young girls to stand on their own and build a legacy for themselves.

This is not fair to our community. This High School has been a historic school for generations of women in this community.

It’s all about the money for these nuns The school is in the black with full enrollment and a large minority base. For Sisters of Compassion you have none.

Preston HS has been here for 75 years. It’s a landmark. It’s terrible that they are closing and selling the property we do not want any more condos here.

To deny young women the chance to grow and flourish in an historic setting denies them the chance of knowing and learning from history, as well as the chance to connect with other young ladies in that environment. That's what Preston High School provides, and that's why it must stay open through whatever means it can!

Preston has always been a gem in our community! It is a shame that this was forced upon the students and faculty, and this harms our Bronx Community!

My heart breaks for the kids. Lost for words. Completely wrong All the hard work these kids put into it. They shouldn’t feel lost not knowing where they will go next out of nowhere.

My daughter graduated from Preston and I was so happy to know that my granddaughter, Laura would be attending as well.
