I have requested a formal meeting with Edinburgh Leisure to discuss the withdrawal of funding and the long term viability of the sailing school. Documentation regarding community usage and economic impact is currently being organized for that presentation. I will provide a summary of their official position once the discussion concludes.

Such a shame. This is where everyone goes to get on the water and learn. Edinburgh leisure really dropped the ball on this one.
spent every summer growing up at port edgar. cant believe they are just gonna bin it off. sad.
so many memories here. save the school.
PLEASE keep this place open!! Used this school for years and its the best one around. Dont let it close down.
My kids learned to sail here. Its a massive part of the community and losing it would be a total disgrace.

TOTAL NONSENSE. they need to keep it running for the next generation of sailors. find the money somewhere else!
