I worked 35 years as a Police Officer. We gave up many pay increases to earn better Health Care benefits. We went through pay freezes, hiring freezes and even layoffs and now you want to take that away! You have already taxed our pensions now you want more! Maybe we need part time Senators and Representatives, we should also cut the pay, pensions, and other benefits and make them retroactive for current and past
Legislators including the Governors!

I negotiated a retirement with my county with the agreement they would lock my healthcare expenses in at the 2009 rates. This plan was initiated by the county not me

Please do not do this to the people that take care of us. These people are the ones We call for Help. I believe they are under paid as it is and you want to take away more.

No one should be changing the game once the game is over. These are negotiated benefits. Concessions were often taken to secure these benefits. Sto attacking teachers, Police and Firefighters. Please remember politician pensions are "public" pensions too.

No, no, no. Please do not not go forward with House Bill 6074 and the adjoining 12 other bills that will negate a large portion of the healthcare benefits as well as pension amounts for ALL police and fire employees in the state. James "Craig" Paetz

These hardworking men and women sacrifice time with family, deal with situations you or I cannot fathom, and frequently place their lives in danger-pensions and healthcare for their service should not be a question. It is a right that they have more than earned.

Lame duck , back door dealing. Can't be good. I've dedicated 20 yrs to my job and community, all the while negotiating to maintain a fair standard of living every three yrs.

Who wants a 70 year old officer coming to help you when it's an emergency. Very demanding job so why make it more demanding.
