Not fair, esp to the retirees that depend on and have worked for their pensions. It's absurd!

How dare you consider taking away these benefits. The work was done by the employees in good faith! It is not their fault or responsibility to fix the broken system as a result if the poor decisions of the municipalities management. The employees deserve what they were promised!!!

I refuse to see Benefits taken away from our and myself Law Enforcement Officers and Firemen and Women! These pensions and benefits were earned throughout however many years of service, Protecting and Serving the Public. How Dare you even consider taking these earned Benefits away!
Spend a Day with anyone of theses Public Servants that has Protected and watched over your own Families and then tell me they do not deserve these Benefits! Some have not even been able to enjoy Life after retirement, Because of Health issues from the jobs we did! Now you want to put then in more distress! We have helped save lives, rescued, and made safe your life! Isn't it time that you looked out for the Protectectors and Life Savers, that made it possible to sleep well at night!
I urge you to VOTE NO! on this!

Please keep all police and fire pensions in take for current employees and retirees. We gave raises for years to be fiscally responsible and shouldn't be punished now.

If all the past and current state representatives and senators are going to GIVE UP their pensions and medical benefits - taking these away from their families, if they are willing to lead from the front, then introduce that legislation first ! Dont think we will see that - Lauwers and Pavlov....... do you hear me?

These men and women have earned their healthcare and pensions have risked their lives and health and NEGOTIATED for their benefits. Do you know their social security payment is $350 after taxes ? You need to keep quality people in this state who are dedicated and passionate about their work and you can only do that by staying competitive with benefits and keeping promises that were negotiated. Not to mention MaNy communities have voted to support their first responders via millages ! Are you going to stop collecting those tax dollars after you screw these heros ?
