Since my retirement, I've already seen my pension reduced by 4.25% when the state decided to tax it. Now you want to reduce it again. It's a fixed income. I earned these benefits, which were negotiated in good faith!

HB 6074 is wreckless and if passed I will never vote republican again out of spite. The state does not need their hands in this leave it i. The hands of Athens local government. Typical politicians introduce this bill as a police officer funeral service is being taken place. Good luck employing your public services as the risks will no longer be worth the reward.

I have worked 20 years towards / for my pension and have taken many concessions to help my municipality. Stand up for police and fire, we are not the enemy.

Please do not reduce pensions or health insurance for any of our past, present,or future police officers or fire fighters.

I didn't serve and protect, place my life on the line, sacrifice family time, that I can't get back, Just to be stabbed in the back by my own government, whom I voted for. I supported you now it's your turn to support the men and women in blue.

Do not take away anything from the police or fire fighters. They sacrifice for us on a daily basis, support them!!!

It's bad enough police are being brutally attacked and murdered all accross our country and now attacked by our own Michigan government leaders.

It's a shame they risk their lives to have to fight for what is owed to them

Please do not take away what these people have worked so hard for! They deserve to have their pensions to live out their lives. Politicians do. What is happening to our officers, first responders, teachers, fire fighters and all public servants is a shame. They do not deserve it!!!!!!

As the wife of a fireman, daughter of a fireman and sister of 2 fireman. I am sickened the State of Michigan is even thinking of taking more away from these hard working men and women who help people every day. I am a nurse and don't even get a pension so I'm not sure what we will do if my husbands pension is affected yet again by people who don't know how we live, who we are, and what we as families have given up.

My city and union have already addressed concessions regarding healthcare. You all have no right to take away local control.

Leave police/fire alone!!! We work hard enough for low pay. We don't need more being taken away from us!

We've given concessions over the years. I understand that some municipalities have unfunded liabilities they can't meet. Address those municipalities which have a serious problem. One size does not fit all. These bills are an overreach by Lansing.

We've given consessions to keep retiree health care. In my department, there is no retiree health care for most current employees. Why? Because we bargained it away in order that retirees could keep their health benefits. What good was bargaining away these benefits if the Republican led house is pushing through these bills in a lame duck session. Republicans trumpet their support for the police and fire, only when it's beneficial to them. They aren't our friends!
