For those that give great sacrifice, that lose time with their families working holidays, weekends, and having to miss so much with their families. For all that they go through throughout their career, they deserve more.

Give him the respect and coverage he was promised.
He gave 27 years to his city.

How do you expect retired people on a fixed pension to cover this cost especially when we sacrificed for 30yrs for this negotiated benefit that we payed for over 30yrs of working . I am sure there are other officers out there on a disability pension for a on the job injury and I don't have cola on my pension.why don't you attack the health care companies to make health care affordable rather than attack the people that spent their careers protecting you .

The legislature should look at reducing their cadillac pensions and medical coverage if they want to save money.
