Basildon Council are planning to transfer ownership of Pitsea Pool and the land it occupies to London & Cambridge Properties (LCP) in order to allow Pitsea Pool to be demolished as part of Pitsea town centre regeneration and for the building of a new supermarket for Morrison's.
We would like Basildon Council to reconsider this and work with the community to either accommodate Pitsea Pool in its current location or if it proceeds with its current course of action to build a new swimming pool within Pitsea.
