We would like Basildon Council to reconsider this and work with the community to either accommodate Pitsea Pool in its current location or if it proceeds with its current course of action to build a new swimming pool within Pitsea.

The scale of this response is compelling enough to move the conversation toward formal consultation with council representatives. I have contacted the planning department to request an official meeting regarding the proposed site transfer.

My kids have learned to swim here and we use it every week. Do not replace a community asset with another supermarket we have plenty already.
Ridiculous decision. Pitsea needs this pool for the locals not another shop we dont need.
So many memories in this place. please dont tear it down.

Where are the families supposed to go now? this is the only decent thing left in the area.
