Can’t believe this is even something that has to be considered. What about the entire lot of old trees across the street that were chopped for a new house? Some tree/plant varieties there were very rare according to Selby representatives.

Please do not allow this old tree to be removed and ask the developer to consider building in a way the allows the tree to remain.

Trees should be cherished; they are important to the human and animal environment. Once lost, it will take a lifetime to replace. Please save our grand oaks.

Trees, especially old ones are so important to our environment and quality of life. Please come up with a clever architectural fix. There has to be a way to optimize your property and save the tree. In fact, many buyers would consider a smaller, but better built house, with a tree like this in the yard, an asset.

Please do not give a permit to cut down these trees.
