Work this great tree into your design for the property, and create an even more desirable (valuable) property: win-win

I was born and raised in this neighborhood. It's heartbreaking to watch the charm of this community be "developed" away. I really hope this tree can be saved. I hope it prompts reflection on how important the plants and animals we share our spaces with are.

Trees like "Pink Floyd" are treasures we must cherish and protect. These are not just icons, but a testimony to a miracle called life/Mother Nature.

Trees are sacred. A 200 year old oak is especially so. Leave the tree, and all those surrounding it.

I was horrified to see Selby Gardens remove a big old tree on the corner of Mound and Orange. Little by little, Sarasota development, labled progress, will totally remove the charm our City once had the buildings, wildlife, and fauna that were here before money was the main concern.

This tree is a living thing. Historic and beautiful. Please don't destroy it.

Too few of these majestic trees survive the development and money hungry businesses. Allowing these oaks to be removed in the name of progress is a sure sign that Sarasota has sold its soul to the development devil.

All healthy trees should be preserved, particularly a tree this old. I cannot be at the rally, but I am 100% in support of preserving this tree.

I don't who this developer is, but this individual is all business and greed. To even contemplate taking down this magnificent tree is beyond the pale.
