I just received word that Picnik will be staying open and I honestly cannot believe it. This result belongs entirely to the people who took the time to show they cared. Please keep an eye on the site to make sure things stay this way.

Picnik is an amazing and powerful photo editor that millions of people all around the world use on a daily basis to create geourgeous photo, collage, and slide show creations. Now, Google is about to change everything, by closing Picnik FOREVER! On April 19th, 2012, Google plans to close Picnik and use its features in Google+. While this is a great idea, many people may not have a registered Google account, or be users of Google+. Please help to preserve such an amazing site that people all around the world rely on for beautiful, funny, and amazing photos! It would be a shame to see a website that has provided the perfect, intuitive, and easy spot for photo editing to shut down. Don't forget to visit the blog after you sign to stay updated on all the new news and feedback!

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people feel the same way about Picnik as I do. Seeing this kind of response is completely surreal and I have no doubt that it is all thanks to your dedication.

This is so disappointing. I have so many projects saved on there. Why do they have to mess with a good thing?
Seriously? What a joke. Google ruins everything they touch.
Are you kidding me? Picnik is the only one I know how to use. Google+ is so confusing and I hate it.
picnik is way better than anything else out there dont shut it down!!!
Been using this forever for my blog photos. Really dont want to switch to something else. Please keep it around.
