I am honestly overwhelmed reading through the stories people are posting about the years they poured into their sites because it feels like our shared history is just being deleted without a second thought. I have been drafting a letter to the team at the office in California and trying to figure out how to best package all these comments so they actually see the human side of the code they want to scrap.

I really thought this might just be ignored by the big guys but looking at the momentum now feels like we actually have a shot at changing things. My head is honestly spinning reading through all the stories about these sites because it is so much more than just code or hosting space to everyone involved.

Please dont close these down. My kids school page is hosted there and we dont have the budget for anything else right now.
total nightmare. migration is going to take me forever and i dont even know where to start. why are they doing this to us.
So many non-profits are gonna lose their online presence because of this move. Think about the people who actually use this service everyday instead of just the bottom line.
Seriously google? DO BETTER. Some of us actually rely on these tools for work. Don't be evil.
this is so unfair. i spent like 3 years building my site for my small craft shop and now google just wants to trash it all? so disappointing.
