Being the ones that are trained in telling our customers what is best for there pet. We can no longer perform or jobs properly if we don't have the proper tools to get the job done. We use our Adjustable Speed Dryers To Get out undercoat, spider web Matts properly, dry a dog so it dosent get yeast infections, spread the coat to see the skin for any underlying skin conditions not seen at check-in etc... It is very important to not demean the knowledge and skills of our groomers by putting Essentially Child locks On our tools. Have faith in the ability's of your workers. And for the ones that need help go to then individually fit further training. Please consider our problem and understand that this not only makes it harder for us as well as our customers that will extend there wait time and send us into so much OT that is Unnecessary. We are all trying to do our best with all of the changes but some are just making it harder on our customers and us. The result is losing many of our loyal customers and employees. The groomers were trained through Pet Smart. Are you now saying you did not know what you were doing?. I think the groomers know what they are talking about.

People are looking for fast convenient ways to get services done as quick and safely as possible. With the new nozzles consumers are now going to have to wait longer for their pets mea in that the pets will be under stress for longer. Looks like people will be taking their dogs someone else.

It is much harder to dry double coated dogs now. And since it does take much longer it also worries me that their body temp will rise due to longer drying times.

I used it today and it sucks, takes twice as long now to dry my dogs. Plus you might as well get rid of furminator packages since they did away with the nozzles.

If they are being taken away because of groomers hearing problems to solve this issue the policy should be changed to have the head phones be mandatory and sign a waiver that if we do not its at our own risk just like we do in pet care with the face masks our drying time is longer without the nozzles and the coats don't come out as straight reducing our quality in grooms

Petsmart honestly could give a crap about their employees like every other big business. I worked there for over 3 years and I nearly destroyed my body and mind working there in the salon. Taking away the dryer nozzles will lose tons of customers and the respect of employees. If you can't give salon associates the tools they need to do a great job then you may as well close.

I worked for PetSmart in 2014, and I know how hard it is to work without dryer nozzles! Don't make the grooming process harder and longer by removing the nozzles!

I had chow with matting in the back end I did a furminator and used our new method of drying and hoped for the best. It took 2 hours to dry the chow and the matting would not loosen up. the chow was too uncomfortable with the brushing. Long story short the dog was sent home with the matting and was charged just for a bath since I couldn't properly get the job done. Thanks Petsmart

It's almost impossible to blow dry a furminator without a nozzle. Or separate a aussies undercoat.

You come in and do our job for week. I have carpal tunnel the longer I stay on the dryer the longer my hand hurts. Wisen up, get all the facts. Stop doing this half-assed bullshit.
