That has to be the worst thing I ever herd of doing.. the drying process is one the the #1 thing to help with grooming.. you take it away might as well do it at home..

It is impossible to groom a dog properly without using a nozzle to dry them. It is also the main tool in de shedding dogs with thick undercoats and dramatically help to untangle a lot of dogs coats.

Where it would have normally taken me 30 minutes to dry my Furminator border collie, without the old nozzles and with the new one it took me over an hour straight through and did not remove hardly any undercoat. Thus giving me more work in the brush out process and longer groom time. These new nozzles are incredibly inefficient and will make it impossible to do the required amount of dogs to make plan. I know full well when to and not to use the cone and so does everyone else in my salon. please bring the old ones back and leave the new ones as an option to use.

Velocity dryers when taught and then used correctly are safe. I went to a top grooming school. The one that also owns petgroomer.com where you advertise for groomers. They had absolutely no cage drying but all students learned all stages of grooming in a four month period. If Petsmart has problems resulting in unsafe use of equipment, I think that is due to lack of consistent training techniques which I have observed over time.

I don't like these new changes petsmart has made, it is really slowing us down on finishing our dogs on times

The nozzle is one of the most important tools for a groomer. I think instead of continuously finding things to ban you shoukd instead work on properly training your employees. As a former salon manager of petsmart I cant even begin to tell you the many salon employees I have seen come and go, most of which had no business in a job like that but only because of poor training. Grooming school through you guys has turned into a joke. Its more of what not to do than anything having to do with proper grooming. I feel really sorry for your employees and clients.

I would love to see the person who came up this idea to take away a Necessary tool and Try to groom a Siberian Husky or st. Bernard or Leonberger In the time that they have and see how difficult it really is. Its a TOOL thats needed! How can you make them work like that? That person Obviously has no idea What stress thay have caused in there employee's lives.

We need the nozzles back. It toke me 1hr and 30 mins to just dry my little dog. When it should have only taken me 30 maybe 20 mins to dry her. We promise our pet parents 3 to 4 hrs but these new policies are not working for time management. We need our nozzles back.

Don't take away the tools that are needed to do the job right I see no harm in this as my dog has been there many times I trust the girls and guys.. They go through training for a reason there safety and the dogs safety

I can't imagine working for a company that is so out of touch with what their employees and clients need. This completely changes the way everyone was taught to groom for petsmart. You can't take away velocity nozzles without replacing it with something else that'll hell aid in drying time. I hope this gets turned around
