These new nozzles heat up really quickly, PetSmart said in the study they conducted the drying time increases by 5 or so minutes, this isn't a true statement. Use a cocker spaniel for example they don't dry quick. With this new method, doesn't help with the process. It was close to 2 hrs drying a cocker today. We need the nozzles not only to perform our daily task properly, but to keep up with time management. This will definitely make groomers not want to groom large dogs or dogs with thick undercoats. How many incidents have been caused by the dryers? Is this a big issue or someone that doesn't groom just wanting to make changes? We need the nozzles!

I was once a groomer at Petsmart and those nozzles are invaluable! You can't do your job properly without them! We are all trained and will not use them while training young dogs or working with elderly or non muzzle breeds but for the other dogs you gave to have them

The bew nozzles just take too long to dry the dogs! And they don't blow out the fur like the old ones. :(

Hi my name Tiffany I'm from store 1616 in Uniontown PA15425 I'm signing this do to the fact that as a groomer that uses the HVD on a daily basis I can personally tell u that the new dryer tops are not time affective and are just as loud as the old ones on are eyes as well as the dogs we would like to have the old dryer tops back in use these new ones are not practical for are fast pace jobs.. Thank you!

Please allow us to use the cone noszzle. It is the most effective, and without it, we aren't able to do as good of a job!!

Forcing dogs with bad hips to stand twice as long, Furminators with wet fur remaining causing skin rashes or over brushing are just some of the problems with taking away the cone nozzles. These are health issues that should be considered.

The sound shouldn't be an issue l, since the dryers are adjustable. The appearance of the dogs is dropping. I care a lot about my job and how my dogs look and with out a force dryer double coated dogs do not look the same. The dryers heat up really fast without the orphice being smaller to cool the air, enough to burn ur hand as u are grooming. The smaller the orphice the cooler it comes out, so you don't over heat bigger double coated breeds. We need this tool to properly groom.

I want whomever came up with this new policy to spend a day in our shoes and see what it's like to perform under these circumstances. Employees are unhappy, customers are unhappy, & I'm sure corporate can not be happy with the significant decrease in dogs that are now being done. Customers are noticing a difference in the was that their dogs look after a "Furminator" and it's not a good difference. Something needs to be done. There are more important things to worry about than how we are drying our dogs!

Just yesterday, it took me just about over an hour to dry a corgi. I believe the dryer nozzles are an essential tool to our every day success. As far as pet safety goes, if your salon associates are well trained when it comes to drying, such as my salon, this new policy isn't necessary whatsoever.
