I agree with this petition completely. We as groomers know when to use the proper tools on certain dogs. If you as a company are having problems with the groomers or bathers using the dryers, maybe you should spend a little extra time teaching people how to use them. instead of just taking our tools away.

Yes, let's all know the critical signs of stress, but force old and arthritic dogs to stand for twice as long with a hotter dryer. Haven't heard of a dog dying from a cone nozzle, but I sure have heard of dogs dying from overheating. This place is turning into a joke.

I personally have experienced, in the work place, having policy and procedure changed for one persons inatiquacy and disregard of established regulations.
I am a psych BSN caring for criminals who have maxed out on their prison sentences, These patients are extremely dangerous, therefore, they have been placed in a psychiatric institution for the protection of the general public..
I ,due to the policy change, have been seriously injured.
Instead of firing that individual who did not comply, a new policy was set in place, making an already dangerous enviornment far more dangerous.
One of your employees disregarded established safety regulations, specifically use of equipment provided and mandated to protect hearing, This individual complained of hearing loss.
Instead of reprimanding this one employee, Pet Smart has chosen to change company policy even though, when hired, this person signed legal documentation that specified she must use the equipment provided by your company to protect her hearing, per the terms of agreement with Pet Smart.
My daughter is a Pet Smart employee. Not only has her income decreased by 60% she is now suffering from severe hand, wrist and arm pain. And that is just one employee. Your company has how many stores?
You are not only loosing valuable employees, you have got to be loosing a serious amount of money.
I am incredulous at the seriously stupid business decision you have made.
I suggest you correct it or you WILL not only go out of business.the people out there that are watching and waiting are ready to slide in and take your place.
Perhaps that's a good thing as they will improve upon what you have already established.
Your messing with my kid, who is a top groomer by the way, and momma bear is not happy.
so i suggest you fix this

I already spend way more money than I can at someplace else. I use the express service which comes to $72. And I do because I love my groomer! And so does my dog. And also I love that fresh groomed look that ONLY the nozzles give! I will seek elsewhere if this is not resolved!

My co worker said that a dogs eyes were hurt with it. ???? That associate should have been punished, not ALL of us!!! Blow drying heavily felted dogs now takes forever!!!! Please, please give them back!!!

It may seem like something little but without this nozzle, drying time will be longer and quality will go down. This is a mistake.

It is taking longer to groom dogs, dogs are going home not looking good. Old dogs struggle to stand during the longer dry times. Double coated dogs, take way too long and are going to end up having to be groomed damp. Damp hair is bad for my tools, and I have to pay out of my pocket for there up keep! The new dryer nozzles are useless and joke! You are going to lose money, clients, reputation of your good groomers and your grooming work force. Let us have our nozzles back so we can keep our standards up and not let them go down!

I don't want my dogs to have to have more stress on them while at groomers. Just because someone decided to change the dryers or remove parts. I take my dogs to Petsmart because the groomers at my location take pride in their work and the safety of my dogs. I have big dogs with big coats and when my groomer says it will be difference in hrs time because of dryers than that is not good that my dogs will be kenneled longer and whole process take longer.

I have been using Petsmart for years and for multiple dogs that I have had. I have always had a wonderful experience and great service. I moved to a rural area a few years ago and the nearest Petsmart is 1 hour away. However, I make the drive because no other place can hold a candle to their standards of grooming! I particularly enjoy the dryers that they use do blow out the hair on my pet. He doesn't shed nearly as much and his fur is so soft and silky. These are the things that set Petsmart grooming apart for me. If these things are altered, it would make more sense for me to save the hour drive and use a local groomer that can offer the same services. I genuinely hope that the things I love about Petsmart service do not change or I wouldn't have any reason to continue to maintain my business with them.

The Velocity dryers get hot after a while. Without the nozzles it's going to take longer to dry, thus putting the dogs and groomers under unnecessary heat for prolonged periods of time. Do you really want us taking in less dogs?

The new dryer heads are honestly a waste. There was no reason nor complaints about the old dryer heads so what was the point in removing them? We're already slowed down with the new SMS system and these new dryer heads take 10x longer to dry a dog. PetSmart pushes us to take more dogs and bring in more business. I'd love to if "policy" wouldn't make everything so time consuming
