Sitting having milk and tea with age 4 Rupert at Waitrose looking into the car park. I was just this week thinking how hopefull it was that humans do have a regard for nature however small it may be and that this shows by how they include trees in their concrete jungle. How awful it would be without them to dilute it all. Then I hear this, perhaps I had no reason to feel hopeful after all if the people on the council the ones in power fail to have this respect and regard. Every tree that is healthy counts towards this planet breathing.

These beautiful trees are now part of petersfields history and should not be cut down, there are other ways to stop the roots from causing problems, maybe by enlarging the bed around the Base of the tee with a retaining small wall. They simply must stay!

Unbelievable suggestion. These trees make the square an attractive space, if you take them away you are left with a concrete bland area. Why would anyone want to remove them is beyond belief! They just need to be managed.
