This is simply not an appropriate area for multi-family housing.

This plan is for greed, not for the good of Payson. It will have a negative impact.

This is not good for our community! It will only benefit people that are only looking out for themselves and not the charm and beauty of our community!

I agree with the summation of everything that is detrimental to the environment. I therefore oppose rezoning any part of the proposed development

Stop this development! Our streets and highways cannot support the traffic this development will bring. Payson is already looking like a ghetto with pot-holed streets, dilapidated and trash-strewn houses and businesses in ghetto-looking buildings where business owners and home owners lack in even attending to their landscapes. I'm embarrassed to invite friends to our town. The Town of Payson government does not enforce any of their ordinances, especially when it involves complaints of dog barking and the number of dogs an owner may have. I'm ready to leave.

The traffics on this street -Tyler- would totally have a negative affect on the peace and quite if the current residents. People bought thinking they would have a certain life style which will be destroyed and negatively sfffct property values. Thus does not belong in this area of Payson. Also we have empty townhouse projects already that are available to fill first. Please Do not allow. Thank you Janice Strvenson

I oppose the approval of the rezoning application for the 91.6 acres of forest land on Tyler Parkway for the following reasons:
• Development does not conform to the tenets of the General Plan voted on and approved by Payson residents;
• Development does not complement the profile of the majority of the developed property in the surrounding area which is acre/multi acre;
• Tyler Parkway can NOT accommodate the additional traffic. Law enforcement cannot maintain the speed of traffic using the Parkway now! Tyler Parkway is a speedway now, cars consistently race 20 - 30 miles over the limit.
• This development will diminish the already limited forest area in the Town; will have a significant impact on wildlife.
High density development has a place in Town, but it should be limited to the areas currently designated in the General Plan for such development.

I oppose this proposal. The City of Payson needs to take care of bringing businesses back to Main Street , fixing roads for existing townspeople and providing more amenities for the people who currently live here and pay taxes. The way things look, this would add enormous stress to our fragile water system. Tyler Pkwy would need to be enlarged to handle the additional traffic. And truly, where are all these additional people going to shop? Until you get more mainstream shops up here, people will continue to drive to PHX to spend their money. That is not helping Payson,

I have major concerns from additional water consumption, destruction of forest trees, and current wildlife usage interruptions. Current drought conditions does not allow additional water usage. I vote no to this project.

Growth is fine as long as it is properly managed. This dense style of growth belongs in a suburb not a town such as Payson.

There are other properties currently for sale within the town limits of Payson that are zoned for multi family building if Payson needs affordable housing. There are other options available without this ludicrous change of zoning, and destruction of solitude in this area. The Payson town council needs to listen to it's citizens.
