Miss being able to cross over the Park Bridge to get to Drumoak. Must be even more frustrating for people having to drive much longer distances to get to Drumoak when the most direct and shortest route is via the bridge.

Really hope this bridge gets sorted and reopened. We moved into the area 2 years ago, by purchasing a house.
The closure of Park Bridge affects all our property prices, not to mention that it increases commute times and environmental impact of our commutes.
I hope the council chooses option A, reopening the bridge to cars under 3 tonnes

It’s a total disgrace by the council as over the years they have spent little on the bridge always patching it up and never totally repairing it . Saving money on repairing it would always result in massive loss to the locals in the long run .

Since the bridge has been closed it has meant we have had long detour to cross the river to access south deeside and beyond. It seems that Drumoak gets forgotten about they keep building houses only give us a coffee shop and now they close the only bridge giving direct access to Drumoak without a detour.

The council need to reopen the bridge as it is cutting off Drumoak from south deeside meaning a long detour via crathes or peterculter. If it was any other community it would probably not happen. They keep building houses and Drumoak and they don’t seem to realise we need bridges to commute back and forth to shops etc. Hope the bridge reopens soon

Really important historically and also important to note that the detours are long, time and fuel energy consuming. Poor show to have let it deteriorate to this extent.

This bridge would appear to have suffered from corrosion (salted roads would exacerbate this) and a woeful lack of maintenance. What organisation is responsible for the upkeep of this bridge ? It has simply not been done in any proper manner.
