Save Park Bridge

The loss of this bridge would mean a massive detour and inconvenience for so many people living either side of the river, and for many they have to make a detour journey 2/4 times a day. Far more motorists too who use it daily will be inconvenienced. This bridge MUST be saved.

Please re-open the bridge, we need this vital link between our communities.

If this important link is allowed to close, none of the currently elected councillors, MSPs or MPs should be voted for again. They will have failed in taking care of their constituents and community.

As a resident at Durris we desperately miss the use of park bridge, we travel to Drumoak everyday to use a childminder and other vital community services such as buses, shops and local services. Not just a bridge it is s key link in the community of Durris, crathes and Drumoak.

For goodness sake don’t even contemplate losing this important part of history AND the community!!

This is a vital link between all who live along the the two sides of the River. Durris and Drumoak are in the same community council area - how can they not be linked by this bridge?

This Bridge has been part of our family life for 45 years enabling children to visit friends, join Brownies... My husband being able to get use North Deeside Road and off to work and miss the rush hour.

Its an important link for schools and other common city services as well as a historic bridge so should be maintained.

Apart from the extra driving it should be saved for historic and tourist interest. I always used the bridge as I live in Drumoak and many people who live in Banchory and surrounding also use it.

This is an essential link for the community and surrounding areas

The bridge should be kept open to allow these communities to work in tandem with their existing shared infrastructure.
