Save Park Bridge

My family started using this link first when we moved into this area 30 years ago and found it extremely useful, often saving on unnecessary driving. There are too few bridges crossing the river Dee.

Splendid bridge. Local historic structure. Must be saved!

As a recent local to Durris and my work located in westhill and family members located in drumoak and peterculter saving park bridge is a must for us!

This should be done this bridge was the only bridge that was open to when the big flood happened and it's a life line for drumoak and aberdeenshire it is haven a huge effect on the local businesses main ones been the fishing

Council have no consideration for those who live and work in and around drumoak and durris.

Keep our communities together!

To help move this along against Aberdeenshire councillors wishes maybe we should consider crowdfunding as an option to fund an independent cost assessment for the bridge repairs?

Please reopen Park Bridge to light traffic. This bridge is vital for the Drumoak and Durris communities.

Park bridge is a vital link between the 2 communities and the repairs could be funded by Aberdeenshire Council if they received what they are due from the SNP Government. They are grossly underfunded hence the problems they have with this and other bridges in Aberdeenshire. So come on do the right thing by Aberdeenshire.

I got the feeling this is the first in many bridges to be closed, if you don't maintain stuff it will cost you more in the long run and Aberdeenshire council hasn't looked after this bridge and other bridges like they should have. They don't spend enough on the roads either which again is a very shortsighted approach. I sincerely hope this bridge & vital link will be saved but fear the worst. Wonder if the council can be forced, through the courts, to repair this bridge seeing how they neglected doing proper maintenance for years.
