The Oyo State Government led by Senator Abiola Ajimobi has initiated a privatisation policy of secondary schools in the state. The labour leaders Oyo state rose in the defence of this anti-people policy and they were arrested and still being detained.

We demand for the unconditional withdrawal of all charges against the Oyo state labour leaders.

Reaching this point has been exhausting but seeing this level of support keeps the goal in focus. I am tired of fighting this battle alone yet looking at the names here reminds me that we are not finished yet.

Popular struggle on behalf of the masses cannot be criminalized. Injustice to one is injustice to all.

Education is at the heart of the future, for the pupils & for society. Public schools MUST stay public to combat inequality. I thus join in calling for the reversal of this anti-poor people policy.

Right to education is fundamental. Educational policy of Awolowo is the singular reason the Yorubas are indefatigable all over the world today. Give future generations a chance at greatness. Labour leaders must not be victimized.

I am strongly against the Oyo State Government under Governor Ajumobi their intention to sell our public schools in this state. The step is unfair and inhumanity .

I am in total support of NLC and against the government on the issue of PPP formular. Leave " mekunu schools" alone.
