The trash is a problem on shore. You'd have to close the free beaches or patrol better to stop it. The boats were there long before the entitled homeowners. You can't punish everyone because a few people are morons. Enforce the existing laws. Stop trying to legislate your way out of doing your job.

This is part of the awesome culture in Weber county and should not be taken away. Keep overnight camping at pineview!

I have been boating at Pineview for over 20 years and have enjoyed sharing it with my kids, grand kids and family. We enjoy playing on the lake and the beach and in the evening a barbecue and star gazing is a great finish to the day. Everyone knows how draining a day in the sun can be and driving home is not always the best choice, I am all for "0" tolerance on the stereo problem after 10 pm and those that elect to ignore it can always go somewhere else. Don't penalize those of us that respect others

My entire life, going 5 decades. My family have enjoyed the wonderful attributes of pine view, including spending nights under the stars on our boat. Losing this would be travesty to my family and grandchildren. Who if this passes will never understand or experience these great memories. Such a travesty should never be allowed.

I think with all the awareness of this now things will change. There is no need to end overnight sleeping and if you are going to do that you might as well end camping as well.

I have been boating for 29 years on Pineview. I am a husband and father to 4 children. I take my kids up there to enjoy he scenery, tube, wakeboard, and most important camp over night. I was born and raised in Pleasant View. I have since moved to Bountiful but choose to tow my boat to Pineview, because it's my home away from home. To tow back and forth each day of the weekend is impossible. If this passes, I will no longer use Pineview and will be sad I can't create the same memories for my kids as I had growing up.

I grew up here my whole life it would be a shame to take that way. It's sad but people will litter whether it's over night or not

I have been concerned that it would come to this. A few boaters that won't respect a reasonable quite hour turn your stereo down or off after 10pm. And the standard political response just close it down. Here is an idea. Hold the offenders accountable and let the rest of us enjoy our recreational activities.

Why would you ban overnight stays? I feel like a kid about to be grounded from sleepovers. ..

I've gone to pine view with friends and family since I was a baby, and to me and many many many people I know consider pine view to be a "second home" so many people love going to pine view and spending time having a blast with your friends and family!
