That's the only reason I have a big boat! Look at the real problem not us! We are the ones that pick up their garbage and you want to take away our freedom and family time because of other people's bad decisions. Us boaters aren't the big problem it's the people on the beach that don't respect the lake and the beauty that surrounds us!

Shutting the lake down at 10 pm because of those few people who can't mind their manners and have respect for the beauty of the lake and other boaters is dumb. Enforce the rules and fine those who are creating the problem/s. The actions of those who don't follow simple rules shouldn't penalize all of us who do.

Love to camp there. Great fishing at night and skiing in the morning... don't take these memories from our family!

Please consider other options than closing the lake during nighttime hours. This would negatively impact our ability to use the lake for what is so important to many of us.

Don't let the opinions of a few ruin it for everybody. You should have never bought a home next to the busiest lake in utah and not expected a little noise

Don't stop over night boating. We go often and we aren't loud or trashy. Give fine and enforce them with those who violate the noise and trash.

I grew up on Pineview and now have been boating on it for 52 years. It has been a part of my life for that many years to be able to go and camp on the reservoir with my family. If the laws were enforced that are already in place their would not be a problem. Let our families continue to enjoy the beautiful lake.

Me and my family do not go up to party but to enjoy the peacefulness on the water. We love to sleep on the boat and this would be terrible that a few misguided people would cause a lot of people to miss our on some great family time. If this goes into effect I will not buy a season pass this year, or any year.

I am from Huntsville, Utah and have used the reservoir for 50 years. Even though I now reside in Idaho, I drive to Pineview to go boating and stay on the lake for days at a time. I bought a larger boat just so I could boat and stay on the lake. Then there is the problem of not enough boat slips at Pineview to accommodate all boats for a short overnight stay. If this ordinance is passed what am I and other people who drive quite a distance supposed to do? Drive to Ogden and park in a supermarket parking lot till the next day when we are allowed to return to Pineview at 6am to go boating? Why do I have to be inconvenienced because of the few boaters who are causing trouble?
I suggest:
Before passing the Pineview Reservoir Curfew to remove all boats from Pineview Reservoir between 10pm and 6am.
First:
Have the Noise Ordinance Law and Littering Law which are now in place be posted at all boat ramps and beach access including what the dollar amount is for violating these laws.
Second:
Enforce this law. Yes, it may take some extra law enforcement officers to do this at first. Once boaters start to acknowledge that they will be fined for breaking these two laws; boaters will become more compliance.
Doing the two steps above is a better solution to make Ogden Valley and Pineview Reservoir an enjoyable place for all.
Thank you,
Dawn Hamilton

I've been boating and staying over night on Pineview since I can remember. Don't punish the boaters, they don't stay on the beach. This is something that's been happening long before any housing was around the lake. Don't take it away

This is ridiculous, my husband enjoy our time, pick up garbage and are respectful, asleep by midnight, respect us paying for upkeep!
