Please help us give our kids the music education they need and deserve.

Please don't combine these programs! Each program deserves specialized training...aren't our children worth it?! Just because a teacher can play an instrument, doesn't mean they can sing and vice versa. Further, even if they can sing and play, if you stretch and educators to cover fast lyndsey different programs, they will burn our, wear thin and retention will be poor. All programs will suffer and so will our children...don't short our children's experience just because it might fit your mold.

What is really sad is this my daughter will be a senior next year to have 4 years of school with next year bring yet another band teacher the kids have had or will have 4 different teachers . The kids needs these programs not everyone can be a jock, cheerleader. As a parent this is disheartening . The situation is not fair to the students or the teachers that have shouldered this for the last couple of years , As the saying goes "You can't get blood from a turnip" I think the district asking too much from a single teacher to take on not only band classes and choir classes .

Our music program historically has been so strong! This would be the beginning of a downward decline!

The music program needs to stay in progress. It's a way for kids to express their feelings and nothing would be the same without it!

The music department allows many students that don't enjoy sports to express themselves and be who they want. By taking it away, it will damage many students.

That district has had a great music program for years. The district has lost several good music instructors and one great one so the leadership has been in flux this past year but the student tallent is still present and far exceeds any other district I have ever seen. Do not let this happen.

I'm a high tech engineer by trade, but music is required by my soul. Don't reduce the music exposure and teaching of students since that will likely SIGNIFICANTLY reduce their satisfaction / fulfillment with life later on.

The music department is just as important to students and the high school as athletic department is and they should be treated and funded EQUALLY!!!!!!!!

You can get an 'A' in choir. You can get and 'A' in band. You cant get an 'A' in football or basketball... prioritize education. Extracurriculars come second.

The arts program helped me fall in love with music and acting again, taking it away would crush the chances of kids like me (who had no hope of doing what they loved) to fall in love with the arts again!

Music is Music, whether you can sing, play instruments, or both, they are still music. Don't take that away.

Keep our music programs diverse. Unlike other schools we dont excell in sports. We thrive in our art programs.
