Wetlands are vital to the environment, once they are gone it is for ever and the consequences are dramatic. Mobile homes can go elsewhere in a shopping centre it would be more practical for the users. Or find an abandoned lot and leave the wild world alone.

The LSRCA must not approve any development on a provincially significant wetland. We need this area for the long term health of our water quality and wildlife.

I am appalled by LSCRA's lack of transparency related to DG's application. Any government agency particularly a Conservation Authority whose mandate is responsible stewardship of protected areas, should be accountable to the public first and foremost.

any new development should not only be 'not adverse' it should be beneficial to the health of the already threatened water.

If there is nothing to hide in the application it should be made public.

the average person can't build a single family dwelling for their own use of it's even close to "environmentally significant wetland" . Why oh why should a huge corporation be able to destroy wetland for profit? Please don't let this happen LSRCA! Have a little backbone and do your job. Protect our lake, it's surroundings and the wetlands that surround it.

This project must not proceed. Enough already! The natural world has more value here than a trailer park.
