It's of greatest importance for the LSRA to tell the public its decision

I am shocked and greatly disappointed that a body titled a conservation authority is acting in such a cavalier manner.

Some conservation, some authority. Sounds like corruption to me.

It's unacceptable that our wetlands are being destroyed.

Disgusting example of environmental management gone bad. Ontario being flushed down the toilet in favour of developers with no conscience and conservation authorities which have become morally and ethically bankrupt

I am astounded to learn that the Lake Simcoe Region Conservatioin Authority has destroyed documents that were subject to a information request. This does not sound like conservation to me.

When did someone in government decided the destruction of our part of this planet was a good idea. This is just wrong!

I thought we were living in a democracy here in Ontario. It would seem that, according to the LSRCA, we're not.

Let's stop this urban sprawl. There are so few wetlands left in southern Ontario. We need to protect what we have.

It is vital that all decisions affecting our country, people and the environment alike, be made transparent. This is how a democratic government works.

85% of Southern Ontario wetlands are gone. Why would a Conservation Authority destroy another 500 acres of the little that remains?

Wetlands are a critical part of the ecosystem that establish critical habitat for wildlife and provide a balance a source of water to the ecosystems. With the constant destruction of our habitats it is critical that we conserve what is left. The fact that the information was withheld and lied about to the public is intolerable, injust and criminal. Government needs to be accountable for their actions and to the public.
