Please save our wetland & do NOT turn it into a tacky mobile home park. Georgina is growing way too much, we cannot afford to lose this land!

LSRCA is supposed to protect the environment and not allow DC/Metrus to destroy it.

How does a mobile home park fit within Places to Grow?? Is there a loophole somewhere?

PS Wetlands are protected under the PPS and no development is allowed on adjacent land that could harm the wetland values. Period.

It is outrageous that the LSRCA considers it consistent with its mandate to facilitate the destruction off a significant part of our remaining wetlands with a secret application and process for a mobile home park. The proposal is so clearly inappropriate that it should never have received serious consideration.

Leave our wetlands alone. Don't let it happen!

Government out of control once again. We need to change some laws staring with the Municipal Act down through to EVERYTHING that takes democracy away from the people! It was Toronto that put the liberals back in, the rest of us have to pay for it every day!

Transparency is the hub of democracy. That's why our veterans defended Canada.

How is it that a conservation authority can basically override provincial policy with respect to class 1-3 wetlands. If the Province condones this then the Premier should be honest to the public and declare the policy null and void. If not then the Province should, if necessary, put this Authority under provincial trusteeship!

Absolutely, the LSRCA should be open about this request and decision!!

Public must have input on any issue such as this. We're getting sick of all this "behind closed doors" stuff.

Save it don't shave it!

This seems amazing that a Conservation Authority would not welcome public input. Why such secrecy?

Without any information to the contrary to the contrary being provided by the lsrca the appearance is one of collusion with the DG Group . This can be resolved by full transparency and dislodge on the part of the Conservation Authority. Furthermore the old Section 28 policy is contrary, in my opinion, to their mandate and therefore illegal.

This has to stop! There is an election coming up, let's try and get help from the local MP.
