LSRCA should make its decision making on this important issue transparent.

It boggles the mind that this situation is before us. And of course the public has a right to know when some develop wants to ruin environmentally protected wetland. There must be somewhere else that isn't so important to the environment where they can build. This has been going on far too long - and costing way too much money - - - enough already!

I am requesting that it be an open, public decision making process on DG Group’s Section 28 application.

I totally agree. Please stop destroying our protected Wetlands for the sake of Development and PROFIT. As a long time Resident of 20 years I have seen nothing but out Farmlands being destroyed in Georgina... A Recreational SEASONAL....Trailer Park...Should be stopped.!!!! It appears the water treatment from our Southern neighbour's in Newmarket is now being diverted to Lake Simcoe in the name of development.... our water supply is being polluted. What next. ???? Please stop this Trailer Park and protect our Wetlands. Thank you.

LSRCS represents Metrus's interest not the environment.

Trading forest for farmlands or wetlands is wrong. Where will our oxygen and food come from. Don't you have children, are you not worried about the earth for their future. PAVE NOTHING

Leave the wetlands alone and build elsewhere.

The "public" has the right to know what is happening. An environmental assessment should be done before any decisions are made.

It appears that the LSRCA has lost sight of its values and seems to be selling it's integrity and credibility for some yet unknown reason. Where is the environmental protection you are entrusted with? To ignore the public opinion is to be remiss in your duty to the people and the life of every living creature in the PSW. You have failed in your responsibility and our government needs to recognize and correct this travesty of responsibility.

the public opinion is the most important. Make your DG Group's Wetland Destruction PUBLIC.

I don't see how the Provincial Government can allow a PSW ( Provincially significant Wetland ) into a Trailer Park! A PSW is the highest designation possible for a wetland Area. Where is the MNRF ( Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry on this. This is most egregious!!!

Provincially Significant Wetlands are the cornerstone of Ontario's green heritage. To turn these wetlands into a trailer park is blasphemy.

It is one of the very core ingredients of democracy that these kinds of significant, highly impactive plans are brought to the public's attention for discussion. Whenever situations like this arise, the first and only thing any rational person can think is that the government agency responsible is intentionally going out of their way to betray their own constituents by hiding important information from the public.
