Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority: Make DG Group's wetland destruction application public

Another wetland under attack. (Minesing is the other one I know of) These people must be stopped. the arrogance of LSRCA - a publicly funded body is astounding.

Totally unacceptable! Transparency needed.

Please dont let this happen! Our water and forests need to be protected!

I've had enough of East Gwillumbury and South Simcoe ruining everything that was ever good about the place, to pander to those who never had a clue about it. Stop this development and all development. You are already overdeveloped. For whom, and for what? Nothing of any worth.

Please just stop this now.

i grew up in simcoe and continue to visit regularly No one should use endangered wetlands & forests for trailer parks.. There is no need for this destruction.. If it's money you need .. Put in boardwalks and charge an admission!

Fed up with Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority. They seem to be on the developers side, not looking out for the wetlands and nature.

Soon we will be left no natural beauty but trailers and houses to look at.

This is a bad plan all around: you want to develop a pristine area (save it, protect it), and you want to build cheap housing that is wasteful in its building practices and materials and is not a good financial choice for anyone.

The public has the right to know the basis for DG’s claim that a 1,073 unit mobile home park won’t harm a provincially significant wetland. And the public has the right to tell the LSRCA why it believes that DG’s claim is not supported by good science. Putting a trailer park in a wetland is NOT conservation.

stop destroying our Eco system for the sake of a trivial trailer park. Find somewhere else to park it.

I think these people should be fired! To call themselves a CONSERVATION AUTHORITY is a disgrace.

Transparency and due process accessible to the public is the sine qua non of good public agency governance...LSRCA is gravely remiss in these areas in addition to transgressing with respect to governing policy

LSRCA sure has some ridiculous sense of empowerment to think that they don't have to be open and accountable to the public.

lsrca must be fully transparent on an issue of such significance. no excuses

Hi folks... You seem to be overlooking your mandate to protect the wetlands as well as inform the public on applications that do and will affect this land.... What's to hide other than the lack of good judgement and common sense on something that affects future generations...not much of a legacy to leave is it!!!! Thanks Dave Huskinson
